Yosefa Akler is a little lady with a huge personality.

Yosefa has been the Director of Emunah Neve Landy for nearly 10 years, prior to which she was Assistant Director at the Emunah Achuzat Sarah Children’s Home.  She holds bachelors and master degrees from Bar Ilan University and has completed many courses in management, education, and child care from Tel Aviv University, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education.

Yosefa runs Emunah Neve Landy by personal example.  The list of her responsibilities is huge – suffice it to say that, although, she and her family do not live on campus, she can be found there at all hours of the day and night.

Yosefa believes that every child has the right to dream and to reach any goal that he or she chooses. The success of the children depends on the number of opportunities and on the people who accompany and support them throughout their lives.

The key to change lies in the capacity of the children to integrate into society and this can be achieved through closing gaps and providing opportunities.

We have the privilege to give the children the chance to enjoy learning and experience success, to grow and to change the rules of the game.
